Today, I’m going to do something a little different and analyze a song that contains some very good messages for men.

That song is called “Brandy” by Looking Glass.

Though this song was made in the 70’s, it contains some information that is extremely relevant to the men of today.

It just goes to show that the things that help men nowadays are not new.

Why Brandy?

“Brandy” talks about a girl who is pining for a man.

I chose “Brandy” because it describes why she pines for that man and it turns out the reason is because he doesn’t love her like he loves his mission.

This is a lesson that more men should learn.

I also chose it due to when it was written.

It was written 50 years before today, a time when the female sexual revolution was in full swing.

This did not mean that men were clueless when it came to how to seduce women.

Clearly they knew what was up if songs like “Brandy” were mainstream!

Ok, let’s look at the lyrics I’m talking about.

Song Lyrics I Want To Discuss

Here is the chorus of the song:

“She hears him say, “Brandy, you’re a fine girl” (you’re a fine girl)

“What a good wife you would be” (such a fine girl)

“But my life, my lover, my lady is the sea”

Man.

Such powerful stuff written into so few words!

The sailor is talking about what a good girl Brandy is, but still she is not as good as the sea.

The man is “already taken” by the sea, his “true lover”.

Basically, the sailor in this story is a real man who values his mission above any woman, even if she’s great!

Here are some other lyrics from the song that are amazing:

“He came on a summer’s day

Bringin’ gifts from far away

But he made it clear he couldn’t stay

No harbor was his home”

The man came bearing value and stated that he was unattainable.

Basically, he challenged Brandy to try and convince him to stay.

It is a classic story of a woman wanting a man she can’t have.

The unattainable, the superior, is what women’s hypergamy desires.

As I said previously, the lyrics discuss the fact that the sailor values his mission (the sea) over Brandy (some girl in a harbor town).

Even though the sailor finds Brandy to be a lovely girl and that she’s the type that would be a great wife, he still does not commit to her as he has higher aims.

The man clearly stated he was unattainable and that no harbor (no woman) could hold him.

He has inverted the script! Rather than being the chaser, he is the chased!

The sailor is an alpha indeed.

We can learn a lot from the messages in this song.

Remember: No matter how amazing, beautiful and perfect a girl is, your mission is STILL more important.

No woman can detract you from your mission in life!

YOU are the prize, no harbor can hold YOU.

True Attraction Written In Verse

Check out the bridge of this song!

It is just FULL of lessons!

“Yeah, Brandy used to watch his eyes

When he told his sailor stories

She could feel the ocean fall and rise

She saw its ragin’ glory

But he had always told the truth, Lord, he was an honest man

And Brandy does her best to understand”

Basically, this bridge sums up the primal attraction women feel for alpha men.

They don’t understand their attraction, they simply are attracted!

Brandy doesn’t know why she loves the sailor.

It is the same way women don’t understand why they’re attracted to certain men.

“It just happens”.

The Kind of Men Women Pine Over

Dating, relationship, masculinity, womanese, heliosblog, theheliosblog, realheliosblog, dating advice, blog for men, dating advice for men, relationship advice for men, dating tips, relationship coach, understanding women, female nature, relationship advice, dating advice, understanding women, relationship advice, relationship blog, relationship advice blog, dating advice for women, relationship expert, understand women, oneitis, womanese, hypergamy, improving your game, approach anxiety, what do women want, why do women cheat, don’t disqualify yourself, number of dates before sex, not all women are like that, nawalt, appealing to her reason, sexual value of men vs women, anger phase, why independent women need men, bait and switch marriages, neo-renaissance, sheryl sandberg, sunk cost fallacy, everyone is special, mate guarding, when to withdraw attention, rebuilding oneself, equal relationship, sexual dimorphism, cultural marxism

The kind of man women pine over (women like Brandy) are those that value their mission over any woman.

She wears the sailor’s locket and pines over him, even though she is just a small part of his life.

Women pine over the man they can’t have.

Examples include: the nomad, the sailor and the movie star.

These are archetypal men that are unattainable.

You want to be like the sailor in this story.

You should avoid being like the men in the first chorus.

Here is the first chorus, to help you understand:

The sailors say, “Brandy, you’re a fine girl” (you’re a fine girl)

“What a good wife you would be” (such a fine girl)

“Yeah, your eyes could steal a sailor from the sea”

These sailors are men who could be tempted away from their mission by a girl (betas).

Notice how she is attracted to the man who is not swayed by her pretty eyes.

Also, notice that they are “the sailors”, an interchangeable mass of men who all think the same way.

This was done on purpose!

The lone alpha sailor is our goal, not the beta sailors of the first chorus.

The Information Is Everywhere, You Just Have to Look

Dating, relationship, masculinity, womanese, heliosblog, theheliosblog, realheliosblog, dating advice, blog for men, dating advice for men, relationship advice for men, dating tips, relationship coach, understanding women, female nature, relationship advice, dating advice, understanding women, relationship advice, relationship blog, relationship advice blog, dating advice for women, relationship expert, understand women, oneitis, womanese, hypergamy, improving your game, approach anxiety, what do women want, why do women cheat, don’t disqualify yourself, number of dates before sex, not all women are like that, nawalt, appealing to her reason, sexual value of men vs women, anger phase, why independent women need men, bait and switch marriages, neo-renaissance, sheryl sandberg, sunk cost fallacy, everyone is special, mate guarding, when to withdraw attention, rebuilding oneself, equal relationship, sexual dimorphism, cultural marxism

The information you need to be a successful man exists everywhere.

It is in literature, it is in songs, it is even said by famous people.

It is simply not said by the MAJORITY.

There is a reason for that,

The MAJORITY are like the sailors in the first chorus.

The majority are betas/slaves/NPCs who place the importance of a woman over everything in their lives.

They parrot the matriarchy’s memes in an attempt to get women to love them.

Betas do not realize that by associating with the feminine, they become the feminine and lose the very masculine polarity that is necessary for attraction.

The alpha sailor is the man to emulate, the one who’s wife is the sea.

How You Should Apply The Concepts In This Song to Your Life

As I have previously said, you need to try to be like the sailor, who is Brandy’s love interest in the song and not like the sailors in the first chorus.

The sailors in the first chorus could be swayed by a girl like Brandy.

The man Brandy is attracted to “just gets it” and could never be swayed by her.

The sea, his mission, is his ultimate partner.

The man has himself, his boat and his mission.

He understands that he could never be a husband to anything but his mission.

This wisdom and understanding of how the world really works is the true reason that Brandy pines over him.

Let this song be a lesson to you.

Women are attracted to men they can’t have.

They pine over men who put their mission above them.

The sailor is a true alpha, to be emulated.

Be the ONE, not the MANY.

Good luck!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Mean To Say That the Lessons We Had to Truly Learn to Become Alpha Were Around Us the Whole Time?

Yeah!

It is your job to parse the information and make sure that you are learning the right lessons.

Misinformation is everywhere, and it is there to obfuscate the truth.

What Type of Man Do Women Pine Over?

Women pine over men who have a higher mission than them.

They are attracted to men who don’t put women as the highest priority in their lives.

They do not understand why they are attracted to these men, it just happens.

What is the Takeaway Message of This Song?

You should try to be like the sailor who Brandy pines over and not the sailors of the first verse.

The sailors of the first verse represent the betas who all think the same and have no mission in life.

You want to prioritize your mission and goals in life over any individual girl.

Failing to do say fails the global shit test that is your upbringing.

Can A Beta Man Forgive His Girlfriend’s Past?

Yes!

Sadly.

If he is steeped enough in matriarchichal brainwashing, there is no low to which he won’t stoop for women.

He will utterly sacrifice himself for the feminine imperative and have no idea that he’s even doing it.
