As Sheryl so kindly explained in her quote, women are hypergamous.
They seek the absolute best men when they are in their sexual primes, and they seek a safety net when they are no longer competitive.
Often, they seek the safety net when they are no longer able to tempt the alphas they initially fucked into sticking around.
Of course, women are never happy with the men they settled for and even when they have children with them, wonder what could have been.
Another sad reality is that the children produced with a beta often turn out to be betas themselves, perpetuating the safety net that women have.
Effectively, betas are the bred cattle of the human race, to be used and discarded in order to serve women’s hypergamous imperative.
